JAG Metals Helps Raise Funds For Pickin' For Preemies

At JAG Metals LLC, we’re all about supporting our local community which includes some of the tiniest Texans. That’s why, when we got the call from Justin Frazell to sponsor this year’s 14th Annual Pickin’ for Preemies event at Billy Bob’s Texas benefiting Cook Children’s NICU, we knew exactly how we could help. Being this was not our first rodeo, and with over 20 artist in the biggest honky tonk place in Texas, we knew this would be a show to remember!

As the entitlement sponsor of the JAG Metals 350, we had the opportunity to put together a sweet prize pack for the auction which included, JAG Metals Team Access to the JAG Metals 350 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race on November 2, 2018 with (4) Riders in TMS Pace Car prior to JAG Metals 350, (4) Luxury Suite Tickets, (4) Guests to Celebrate in Victory Lane and (1) VIP Parking.

In the end, Pickin’ for Preemies raised $362,000.00 for Cook Children’s NICU! Did you know they use about 600 diapers a day and about 219,000 per year? That’s A LOT of diapers!

We also had the honor of making the trophy’s for the 2018 Puttin’ FORE Preemies at Diamond Oaks Country Club with the help of Josh Martinez from JTC, LLC – Engineering & Design who developed the concept and design, and Robert Hall from Off Duty Power Works who powder coated the awards. Take a look at how we used our state of the art plasma cutting table to create the final product!
